The Genie Betrayed You!

Congratulations, you've found the Genie's Lamp! Now make 3 wishes... I promise they won't be misinterpreted!

Upon asking for superpowers and a new place to keep you from "getting bored", you were granted your wish. Unfortunately, instead of receiving the ability to fly and a mega-mansion, you were placed in a labyrinth of death and given the riskiest powers possible. How fun.

The Genie Betrayed You! is a puzzle/platformer game created in Unity and C#. It consists of 4 unique levels that seem pretty easy at first - until you realize that you have an inconvenient superpower that holds you back! Try not to pull your hair out, and escape the lair of doom!

Developed for the 2022 Westmount Game Jam,  where the theme was "Inconvenient Superpowers".
